Hickstead is synonymous with showjumping. As host to the British Grand Prix and the only Samsung Super League with FEI Competition in the British Isles, it is the home of British showjumping. Founded in 1960 by Douglas Bunn, Hickstead has come to represent more than just showjumping however, and as it approaches its 50th birthday is equally as renowned for polo, showing, dressage, driving and even eventing. The All England Jumping Course is located in the heart of Sussex, directly between Gatwick Airport and Brighton, and is one of the UK's premier sporting venues. Our Summer Season runs from June til August and comprises the British Jumping Derby Meeting, the Longines Royal International Horse Show and the The Hurstpierpoint College National Schools and Pony Club Championships, with Dressage at Hickstead running independently throughout the summer.
