The Poacher Harness Club
The Poacher Harness Club was originally started by a small group of friends as a private organisation in which they could participate in driving events, drives out and social events for funrather than competitive point scoring.
Why "The Poacher" Harness Club? There is a famous English song about a Poacher, in Lincolnshire - The Lincolnshire Poacher.
Friends of Poacher are our most valuable and valued asset. We have a strong group of interested and generally committed members who do not necessarily drive horses in competition but are enthusiastic about being around events and people who do. They join in with all things “Poacher”, to give us the benefit of their expertise and knowledge and many of our friends help out on event days too.
For £5 per year, you will be part of a fast growing club with very friendly members, who go out of their way to welcome newcomers and show them the ropes.
